Appoints the East Asiatic (Thailand) Public Company Limited (EAC) as distributor for its Zemea® in Thailand

Bangkok, 10/26/09 — DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products today announced that it has expanded its distribution network in Asia by adding a new channel partner in Thailand for its breakthrough product, Zemea® propanediol. The company has appointed the East Asiatic (Thailand) Public Company Limited (EAC) as distributor for its Zemea® in Thailand.

Zemea® is a 100 percent natural ingredient made from corn sugar through fermentation and developed for use in the cosmetics, personal care and home cleaning products. It is a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based glycols where the product's purity level, low irritation and excellent moisturization properties are benefits.
